January 8, 2022 – Queens, NY: Just after 4:20 a.m. a 911 call came in for people trapped in a single-vehicle accident near 112th Road and Guy R Brewer Blvd in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens.
First responding NYPD officers from the 113th Precinct located six adult occupants inside a black Honda Accord, all with various injuries and made the request for an Emergency Service Unit for multiple people injured, confirming a vehicle pin.
According to police officials, the female front seat passenger was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, and the remaining five occupants are in serious but stable condition.
The 23-year-old male driver was taken into police custody with charges pending, said police.
The investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad.
