January 8th, 2022 – Jersey City, New Jersey: Police in Jersey City responded around 7:00 p.m. to a report of a vehicle crashed into a tree. When officers arrived on scene they found the driver shot in the chest along with several bullet holes observed around the victims vehicle.
According to police, the 28-year-old male driver was shot in the chest and the bullet exited through his back.
The male operator of the wrecked vehicle was transported to Jersey City Medical Center in a unknown condition.
According to Jersey City police this shooting scene is connected to another where a man was shot in the butt. That additional individual shot in the butt and now at the hospital was confirmed to be related to the incident, said Jersey City Police.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
