Teachers and union members gathered at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn on January 5, 2021 to call on elected officials and the Department of Education to provide increased testing and remote learning options amid a surge in COVID-19 infections in New York City.
The protest was organized by the MORE Caucus, a faction of the United Federation of Teachers Union (UFT).
