With just under 1 hour and a half until 2022 makes it’s debut Time Square revelers have had a non traditional evening of waiting around for the ball to drop.
With Covid safety a big issue around this year’s celebration most attendees have so far just been sitting around for hours and are excited to ring in the new year.
A heavy police presence is set in place around Times Square as families of tourists wait around to celebrate the new year.
Pro tip, they say all the fun this year is happening near the front.
Balloons are being distributed to attendees and it’s like magic! NYE in Times Square is the place to be.
