December 27, 2021 – A double shooting occurred just after 8:00 p.m. in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens leaving one man dead and another injured.
Police officers from the 115th precinct responded to the report of an assault at 94-01 37 Avenue Monday evening.
When first responding officers arrived on scene they observed an unresponsive 25 year-old male with a critical gunshot wound to the head.
An additional 21 year-old male was also located at the scene with a gunshot wound to the midsection, said police.
EMS responded to the location of the shooting and pronounced the 25 year-old male with a head wound, dead at the scene.
According to police, the 21 year-old male was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospital/ Elmhurst where he is listed to be in stable condition.
There are no arrests in the case so far and the investigation is ongoing.
