Bronx Double Shooting Leaves Two Men Dead

December 26 2021 – Just after 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning, a 911 caller reported to police that a male had been shot at the intersection of East 168th street and Morris Avenue.

When officers from the 44th precinct arrived to the location they located two males with gunshot wounds about the body.

According to police, a 31-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.

An additional male with with critical gunshot wounds to the neck, arm and back was rushed by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln.

The additional unidentified male did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead by staff at NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, said police.

Currently no arrests have been made and the investigation remains open this time.
