Christmas Morning Shooting Leaves 4 Wounded In Brooklyn

Just after 12 a.m. in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, four individuals were hit after shots rang out on Christmas morning.

According to NYPD officials, officers from the 71st precinct responded to the shooting at 301 Sterling Street and located two individuals that sustained gunshot wounds.

First responding officers requested an ambulance to the location. Medics arrived on the scene and rushed two injured people to a nearby hospital.

An additional two individuals involved also sustained gunshot wounds following the incident at 301 sterling street, said police.

According to police, the additional pair injured in the shooting walked themselves into nearby NYC Health+Hospitals / Kings County a short time after the incident unfolded.

All four individuals injured in the early morning holiday shooting are expected to survive their injuries said police.

There are currently no arrests and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
