Woman Killed after THREE SHOT Outside Astoria Bar

December 23, 2021 – One woman was killed and two other people were injured after shots rang out early Thursday morning outside a bar in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens.

According to the NYPD, just after 4 a.m. a 911 caller reported shots fired in front of 23-66 Steinway Street. Responding officers from the 114th precinct located a 27-year-old with critical gunshot wounds about the body.

EMS responded to the location and rushed the 27-year-old woman found outside of the establishment to Mount Sinai Hospital-Queens, where she was pronounced dead, said police.

Two other people also in their 20s were shot during the incident and sustained non life threatening injuries.

The additional people injured during the shooting were transported by EMS, to NYC Health & Hospitals-Elmhurst, where they remain in stable condition, said police officials.

There are no arrests and the investigation into the triple shooting remains ongoing.
