1 Dead After Alleged Road Rage Shooting

December 22, 2021 – A 45-year-old male suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head early Wednesday morning in the Bronx, during what police are calling a possible road rage incident.

When NYPD officers from the 42nd precinct arrived on the scene they observed an injured 45-year-old male passenger in the back seat of a black SUV with a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

According to police, a suspect in a white SUV opened fire upon the black SUV striking at least one passenger. The driver of the black SUV and the front-seat passenger, were not injured in the altercation.

No arrests have been made and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
