HOLIDAY TRAVEL MESS – International Passengers Stranded at JFK due to no Covid Tests Available

December 19 2021 Queens, New York – Dozens of International travelers at John F. Kennedy International Airport are stranded in Terminal 4. Xpress Check Testing facility closed their PCR and Rapid COVID Testing Line at 1:30PM today. Staffers told unfortunate travelers that the line was cut and that there is a 3-4 hour wait to receive a COVID test.

The testing facility at LGA & JFK that were run by New York City Health & Hospitals were closed right after the Thanksgiving Holiday. Mayor DeBlasio vowed more vaccine buses at the airports but there were none insight at Terminal 4 at JFK for international travelers. Leaving dozens of people travelling to South America for the holidays stranded and many needing to rebook their flights.
