Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters and Assange Brother speak in NYC to Oppose Assange Extradition

December 13 2021 – Manhattan, New York: Roger Waters from Pink Floyd, Julian Assange’s Brother and actor Susan Sarandon held an anti-extradition rally for Julian Assange outside of the British Counsulate in Midtown Manhattan today.

Group is protesting after a British court ruling Friday that the Wikileaks publisher could possibly be extradited to the U.S. to face criminal charges related to the leak of classified documents.

Julian Assange has been held in the London prison for over two years, as U.S. Department of Justice pushed for extradition to the US.



Julian Assange was removed by British police from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where he spent 7 years under political asylum rule.

Assange’s team said they will appeal the extradition decision, while he remains jailed at Belmarsh Prison in London.
