December 11, 2021 – On Saturday evening just before 9 p.m., a 37-year-old man was gun downed in front of a NYCHA building in the Morrisania neighborhood of the Bronx.
Police officers from the 42 Precinct, PSA 7 arrived to the Morris Houses on 1382 Washington Avenue, where they located a man at the front of the location with several gunshot wounds about the body, including a severe gunshot wound to the face.
The 37-year-old male was transported by EMS to BronxCare Health System, but did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead, police said.
There are currently no arrests in this case and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
