December 06, 2021 – Detectives in Queens are searching for several masked individuals police say, fled the area where a man was fatally shot in the head and chest and another was injured, around 5:30 p.m., Monday evening.
When police from the 113th precinct arrived at the location of the incident on 111 Avenue and 176 Street, officers found two men, a 40-year-old male shot in the head and chest and a 25-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the leg and shoulder.
According to police officials, Both men were rushed by EMS to Jamaica Hospital where the 40-year-old male was pronounced dead.
The 25-year-old male is in stable condition and expected to survive his injuries, police said.
There are currently no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
