Three Firefighters Injured as Heavy Fire Burns through Restaurant and Rips Through Apartments

November 30 2021 Manhattan, New York – Early Tuesday morning, firefighters battled a heavy fire on the Upper East Side of Manhattan that started at a restaurant on 1843 1st avenue.

During the fire, the roof of the restaurant started to collapsed as a rescue was underway.

The intense four alarm blaze called for 168 firefighters to the scene. The fire that ripped through a restaurant & apartments has left tenants displaced following the start of the holiday season for many.

According to police, three firefighters sustained minor injuries during the fire.
