Trial Starts Today in NYC for Ghislaine Maxwell, Accused Jeffery Epstein Helper

November 29, 2021 – The trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, British publishing heiress and daughter of late media mogul Robert Maxwell starts today in New York City.

The 59-year-old Maxwell, is being accused of helping convicted sexual offender Jeffery Epstein, groom young girls.

Ghislaine has been in custody since arrested in New Hampshire on July 3, 2020. The trial is set to last six weeks and no cameras will be allowed in the courtroom.


Victims Rights attorney, Lisa Bloom, who represents eight Epstein victims and one Maxwell accuser, spoke outside the court,

“They are all too scared to come in person, and I am here monitoring the case on their behalf.”, said Bloom

A small group of protesters also gathered outside of the courthouse.

Maxwell is being charged with six federal crimes including enticement of minors, sex trafficking, and perjury.
