November 26, 2021 In the early morning hours following Thanksgiving celebrations for many, police from the 33rd precinct responded to the intersection of W177 & Wadsworth Ave for a call of a man shot.
When officers arrived at the location, they encountered an unresponsive male with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS transported the unidentified male to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center where he was then pronounced dead.
According to police, a gun was found at the scene but no arrests have been made. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
