Two People Dead, Child Critically Injured After Heavy Fire in Harlem Overnight

November 19 2021 Manhattan, New York – Two people have died and child among other victims is critically injured in a Two-Alarm fire that tore through an apartment building overnight in Harlem.



An 81-year-old male was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital, a 37-year-old woman was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Both suffered smoke inhalation.


A 4-year-old child is in critical condition at Harlem Hospital with burns from the fire.

The fire started in a third floor apartment just before 1:45 a.m. Early Friday morning at 1833 7th Ave.
