The incident took place during protests following the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Kyle is charged with killing 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum and 26-year-old Anthony Huber.

Rittenhouse is also charged with shooting 28-year-old Gaige Grosskreutz. Gaige, is the only survivor of the shooting.

Grosskreutz said he attended the protests in Kenosha on August 25, 2020, as a paramedic and legal observer.

Yesterday outside of the Kenosha Court House where the trial is being held, Kyle Rittenhouse supporters, Mark and Patricia McCloskey, were confronted by BLM activists as they arrived.

The controversial couple is known for pointing firearms at unarmed protesters in June of last year, during George Floyd protests in St. Louis.

“We don’t want white supremacists here”, some counter protesters could be heard saying to Rittenhouse supporters outside Kenosha Court House

“So you are a communist.” Mark McCloskey says to one of the counter protesters.

“I’m not a communist. I don’t have to put a label on myself. I never said I was a communist.”, the female protester responds.

“Well you just did.”, said McCloskey.

The female protester followed up his with, “I don’t have to put a label on myself to know who I am that’s you. You want to label me so bad but you have a label of a white supremacist on you and you have to deal with that.

It’s abuse. That is what white supremacy does. It says that words are abusive. I am using words to annihilate you and you hate it. You fucking hate it. You hate it. You hate it. You don’t want to hear a black woman talk to you like this. You think you’re above me.”

Rittenhouse supporters followed the female counter protestors words by chanting, “Let’s go Brandon. Let’s go Brandon.”

To which the female counter protester started chanting, “Fuck Yo Mama. Fuck Yo Mama.”

Rittenhouse supporters were asked, “Is Kyle a racist?” One older male supporter responded to members of the press with “No, no, I don’t think Kyle’s racist.”

“I think Kyle was just doing what he thought was a good idea, do I think Kyle’s a racist? No.

I think Kyle’s just a child who came here with a legal, he was over 16. He was legally entitled to carry that firearm as the judge ruled as a matter of law.

Okay, I think he came here, I think the 36-year-old Joseph P. Rosenbaum, saw that he was an easy mark and was gonna go beat the shit out of him or take or take his weapon away. Or as he said, shoot me (expletive) or (expletive) mother fucker or whatever Joseph Rosenbaum said and ok, was not taking his medication.

And I think Joseph P. Rosenbaum asked for it. I think Kyle, got to hand it to the guy, he was a pretty good shot. I mean, four feet away was as close as he got and then he was shot dead.

And then Kyle dispatching the other two who were chasing him with the mob, that’s not racist, that’s protecting your life.

He has seconds to make a decision to protect his life. Kyle did a fantastic job.”

The uncle of 29-year-old Jacob Blake, spoke to a group of protesters gathered at the courthouse. Blake, was shot in August of last year by a police officer in Kenosha Wisconsin.

“Hold your hands up proud. What the nation saw today, what the world saw today was black and white, brown, yellow, Muslim, Christian, Jews, working for one cause. Not just for white people but for everybody in this nation. You are the true patriots. You are the true change makers.”

Blake’s uncle went on to say

“And never, not in this state or any other state want 17 year olds making decisions, whether people live or die.

Never, you don’t want a 16 or seven year old 17-year-old picking out what cereal they want. He should have stayed home playing the Xbox.

Instead, he chose to lift up a gun in an adult world and now he must pay.”
