BROOKLYN: Pedestrian Killed, Teenage Driver Arrested

November 11, 2021 Police from the 90th precinct responded to a call of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at Bushwick Avenue.

EMS transported a 33-year-old male to NYC Health & Hospitals/Woodhull, where he was pronounced deceased.

An NYPD investigation determined that the 33-year-old male pedestrian was struck attempting to cross Bushwick Avenue by a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro traveling northbound.

The operator of the Camaro was not injured and remained on scene. The 18-year-old male driver was taken into custody, police said.

The NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad is still investigating the incident.
