MARATHON TURNS PARTY in Williamsburg, People DODGE Runners, Trying to Cross Streets.

November 07, 2021 – New York City Marathon turns into a party as people gathered on the streets of Williamsburg to cheer on the passing Marathon runners.

Some spectators were drinking and dancing, others were “playing frogger” while attempting to cross the street filled with runners.

Some consider attempting to cross the street during the New York City Marathon a sport in it of itself.

It was a sea of runners in Brooklyn. As runners approached Pulaski Bridge in Brooklyn. Volunteers, supporters and NYPD could be seen cheering on the participants in this years race.

Albert Korir of Kenya would go on to win the men’s race and Peres Jepchirchir of Kenya won the women’s race this year.
