Man Shot in the Head, Killed on a Busy Sidewalk in Queens

A man was shot and killed in broad daylight, on a busy sidewalk around 3pm in Jamaica, Queens.

On October 19, 2021 police responded to a call of an assault in front of 89-32 163 Street, in Queens.

Upon arrival, cops say they observed a male victim lying unconscious and unresponsive on the sidewalk in front of the location with a gunshot wound to his head.

EMS responded and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
