On October 15, 2021 at approximately 8:30pm, police responded to a call of a person shot in the vicinity of Suffolk Street and Delancey Street in Lower East Side part of Manhattan, New York.
Police say they found an unconscious and unresponsive 16 year-old male lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his face.
EMS responded and transported the victim to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead .
A second victim transported themselves to Beth Israel Hospital, for treatment for a gunshot wound to his hip and is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
