On Saturday October 9th, 2021 about 100 animal rights protestors gathered across from Central Park at Pulitzer Fountain in Manhattan, NY.
The group was demanding a ban on fur and an end to horse carriages in New York City.
“Fur free NYC” and “Fur trade is a lie! How many animals have to die?” Were some of the chants by the protestors.
At one point Protestors could be heard telling patrons “You should be ashamed of yourselves.” as they rode by in a horse carriage. They also asked a family petting horses if they knew how the animal felt behind a bus all day.
The group marching in the street shut down 5th ave traffic and even interrupted a commercial shoot for Red Bull. They would make stops at designer stores Dior, Celine, Moncler, Fendi, and Dolce Gabbana.

Protestors poured fake blood onto the sidewalk in front of Dolce & Gabbana while chanting “Dolce & Gabbana has blood in their hands”

We’re year 2021, killing helpless animals for profit and wearing their fur is incredibly disturbing. All designers must follow suit and abandon the cruel blood fashion industry.
We educatied shoppers who simply didn’t know, where and from who fur comes from as well as being disruptive. Our mobile billboard played an important role sharing videos on 3 large LED screens, exposing the methods of torture used to skin these poor animals. People were heartbroken, many swore to never buy fur. The time has come to abolish this barbaric trade once and for all. And we will see a Fur-FreeNYC in the need future.. Thank you for covering the March in NYC.
