4 Alarm Fire Burns through Bronx Home

October 8th, 2021 – At approximately 10:15 p.m., FDNY firefighters in the Bronx responded to a 2nd Alarm fire on arrival that quickly escalated to 4 Alarms before being brought under control in a row of wooden structures at 416 E. 143rd St. and spread to 3 other occupied similar structures for a total 4 affected buildings. No injuries were reported at this time.



According to a neighbor on the block, she ran into the building alerting tenants about the fire while family called 911 after noticing smoke on her way home.
