October 7, 2021 police responded to a call of a unconscious male child in the back of a Harlem building on West 133rd Street at approximately 1023.
A 3-year-old boy was found by EMS with injuries from a fall. Police confirmed the boy fell from a 4th floor window.
The boy was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals-Harlem by EMS where he was pronounced dead .
According to our reporter on scene, Daniel Valls who spoke with police NYPD DCPI (Deputy Commissioner, Public Information) Sergeant Carlos Nieves: ‘The young boy fell to a basement stairwell from a 4th floor window where an AC unit was not properly installed.”
