Two Teens on Scooter are Critical after being Struck by SUV

October 6th, 2021 – Officers responded to the scene of a car accident at the intersection of Ave. T and W. 6th Ave at approximately 9:08 p.m.

Upon arrival, police findings determined that two teenagers riding a scooter were found after struck by an SUV.

According to police, a 14-year-old male was the driver of the scooter and a 15-year-old female was the passenger.

Both teens were transported to an area hospital where they remain in critical condition. 

The driver of the SUV remained on the scene.

NYPD Collision Investigation Squad (NYPD CIS) was requested to continue the ongoing investigation.
