October 4th, 2021 – At approximately 10:10 p.m., officers from the 20th Precinct responded to a shots fired incident at 72nd Street and Columbus Ave. outside of the Dakota Bar. A 37-year-old man was shot while sitting inside his Lamborghini car, on an Upper West Side, police said.
The victim was parked near West 72nd Street and Columbus Avenue when a dark sedan pulled up and one of occupants began opened fire, according to officials.
The man was shot in the hip and took himself to Weill Cornell Medical Center. His injuries are not considered life threatening.
