Car Driving on Sidewalk Crashed into Queens Home, Promoting Evacuation

October 4 2021 Queens, New York A driver is in custody after riding his black SUV up on to the sidewalk and crashing into a house in Queens.

Incident occured on 70th Street and Queens Boulevard around 2am, early this morning. pe

People in the house had to vacate the premises as the New York City Department of buildings deemed the structure unsafe.

According to police, driver was charged with Reckless endangerment, Dwi, Driving without license and Driving on the side walk.
