October 3 2021 Manhattan, New York – George Floyd statue, that was installed in Union Square just a few days ago, has been vandalized. It was also vandalized at its former home in Brooklyn.

According NYPD, the Parks Dept discovered that the silver paint was splashed on the statue from the forehead to the base at around 10:15a this morning.
“Why do you hate my brother so much?” asked Terrance Floyd after George Floyd Statue was vandalized once again, “You don’t even know him, but you hate him”

I guess not everyone is onboard with a monument to a thug with a rap sheet a mile long. Go figure.
