E-Bike Rider Struck and Killed by a Hit and Run Driver in Brooklyn

September 25th at approximately 10:25pm , police responded to a 911 call of a car collision involving a bicyclist in the intersection of Linden Boulevard and Snediker Avenue in Brooklyn

Police officers observed a 44-year-old male lying on the roadway with severe trauma about the body.

EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Further investigation by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad determined that the 44-year-old male was riding an E-bike, victim was traveling eastbound on Linden Boulevard when he entered the intersection and was struck by a dark color sedan traveling northbound on Snediker Avenue.

Car driver drove away, he did not remain at the scene. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
