September 19 2021 Gaza – Islamic Jihad organized a demonstration in support of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. Over a thousand participated in the march in solidarity and support for the prisoners who escaped. Banners were raised for them and they burned an American flag.
Six Palestinian prisoners escaped from a maximum-security prison more than 10 days ago.
The last of the six who escaped Gilboa prison on September 6, were found in the eastern district of Jenin city, and were recaptured, the police announced on Twitter.
