On Thursday, September 2, 2021 at approximately 1142am , police responded to a 911 call that reported 3 people floating inside 153-10 Peck Avenue, in Flushing part of Queens.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that two females and an unidentified male where discovered unconscious and unresponsive inside the basement at the location. EMS responded and pronounced the aideds deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

Disasters, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, volcano eruptions and others have happened since the dawn of time.
Man cannot stop nature, or change the weather! Live where it is safest and then prepare for the worse, are the only reasoned and logical things we can do. New Orleans should not rebuild where it sits on lake bottom and seafloor! New Orleans should be moved entirely out of the below sea level and eternal flood zone, that has existed since the ice age!!! Residents, many or most of them with Federal Flood Insurance, are continually rescued and get a new home from our pockets. That and the flood prevention measures and enormous pumps, etc have adsorbed hundreds of billions of dollars, possibly over trillions of dollars since Louisiana and New Orleans became U.S. Territory then a state. They refuse to learn, that repeating the same mistakes will bring the same results. U.S Citizens cannot afford to continue this idiotic proposition…and in addition the tens of thousands of lives lost since the founding of New Orleans.
Move New Orleans in its entirety, bite the bullet once and save hundreds of billions that would be spent in the future.
Then require all new buildings to be hardened, as much as new techniques and technologies can afford.
