August 10 2021 Brooklyn, New York – a 19 months-old child was mauled by a family rottweiler in Flatbush Brooklyn Tuesday evening.
Incident happened around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday at the East 17 Street home.
According to the NYPD, infant was watched by his young siblings at the time, a 9-year-old and an 11-year-old.
Police found the baby with bite wounds to the neck and shoulder, child was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. The dog was taken away by animal care and control.
According to Pix11 reporter Kirtstin Cole, the boy’s older brother told police that he had previously been attacked by the dog, showing them a scar on his leg.
August 11 2021 Brooklyn, New York – 30-year-old Vernon Foster was arrested and charged at the 70th precinct after last night’s incident where a dog mauled a toddler to death. He was charged with Manslaughter and Criminally Negligent Homicide.
