Two Men Shot on MTA Bus in Queens

August 5 2021 – QUEENS, New York:
The NYPD arrested a suspect who shot two people that were riding an MTA bus in Jamaica this morning.
The shooting was reported shortly before 9am at 148th and Archer Avenue.


The gunman was standing on a corner outside of the bus when he fired at his intended target who was at the bus stop.
The gunman missed his target and his rounds went into the bus striking the two victims in the arms.
A large bullet hole could be seen in the window of the bus.
Both victims were taken to hospitals with injuries that were determined to be not life-threatening.
The suspect was caught at the scene, and a pistol was recovered.
