A woman is dead after being shot along Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights.
Police say they 911 call of a woman shot near 697 Franklin Ave, in Crown Heights part of Brooklyn on Wednesday Night.
Police say they found her on the ground with gunshot wounds to her head and leg.
She was rushed to the hospital but did not survive her injuries.
According to News12 – the neighbor said that the victim was a mother and used to live in the area but moved to New Jersey a few years ago, she was involved in the community and helping others.
Victim was 42-years-old, she was shot in the leg and head and pronounced dead at the hospital.
