Two People Stabbed, Suspects Fled on Mopeds in Astoria

August 4 2021 – QUEENS, New York: Two brothers in a car were reportedly stabbed by suspects on electric scooters in Astoria on Wednesday night.
Incident was reported around 8:30pm, both of them with life threatening injuries.

According to police, suspects on Mopeds rode up to the two men in the car and stabbed them through an open windows. This occured on 30th Road and 23rd Street.

The 18-year-old driver was stabbed in the left arm and left side of the body, 20-year-old brother was stabbed below his right eye.

One victim was transported to Elmhurst Hospital and the others was transported to Cornell Hospital. Both victims are expected to survive.

Suspects are 2 hispanic males who fled on scooters according to police. Police say they are investigating wether this may be a road rage incident.
