Powerlines Ablaze second time in weeks in Queens neighborhood

July 26 2021 Queens, New York – block is without power after live wires cought fire in Queens near 92nd street and 52nd Avenue.



Neighbors described the fire to look like huge fireworks. FDNY is on scene, spraying the wires to keep them from catching trees on fire.

Two neighbors recounted how the same thing happened just two weeks ago and nothing was done. They said it’s a big problem for this neighborhood.
