Man arrested in connection with Inwood Hill Park attacks on Women

July 24 2021 Manhattan, New York – Elvis Nina Pichardo, 40-years-old, ofhas been arrested in connection with three Inwood Hill Park attacks and public lewdness, says NYPD.



Suspect is said to have attacked several women in the span of just over an hour, in Inwood Hill Park on Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.

Police say a 34-year-old woman was walking in the park around 10:50 a.m. when a man confronted her and told her he wanted to sexually assault her, he then punched her in the face, stealing her iPhone and Apple Watch, then fleeing, officials said.

a 40-year-old woman walking her dog in the park around 11:30am, police say the same male approached her, threatened to rob and sexually assault her and threatened to kill the woman’s dog, authorities said. Suspect fled when a person jogging ran nearby, police say.

Around 12pm, a 44-year-old woman was walking her dog when the male camr up behind her, asking a question, suspect then hit the victim in the head with a tree branch, causing the her to fall to the ground, according to police.

The suspect then pulled down her shorts, but fled when a passerby interrupted the incident, police said.
