New Black Panthers and other Coalitions In Indianapolis

July 17 2021 – INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana:
The New Black Panther Party gathered with various other coalitions in Indianapolis to rally for black rights and against white supremacy.
They marched, armed with firearms including long rifles, raising their fists in the air and saying “Black Power” and “F*** white supremacy.”

They spoke about the shooting of Dorian Murrell who was killed by police. Shooting happened on May 30, at around 2 a.m., Murrell, an unarmed teenager, was shot and killed around Pennsylvania and Market streets. A court case regarding his death is approaching the the groups wanted to bring attention to the case, that police never provided video of the incident. They encouraged people to get organized and join in.
