President Biden Speaks in Philadelphia about Voting Rights as Trump backs 2020 state audit

July 13 2021 – PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania:

President Joe Biden arrived in Philadelphia on Tuesday afternoon for a speech regarding voting rights. This, as Philadelphia weighs an audit on the 2020 election in the state. Biden was seen waving as he stepped off Air Force One at Philadelphia International Airport just after 2pm.

A crowd gathered outside of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia where President Biden delivered his speech inside.
“The big lie is just that, a big lie” Biden said during his 25-minute speech. “You don’t call facts fake and then try to bring down the American experiment just because you’re unhappy, that’s not statesmanship, that’s selfishness. That’s not democracy, that’s the denial of the right to vote, It suppresses, It subjugates.”

Several demonstrators protested with signs urging the President to act on specific measures such as ending the filibuster. Some protesters held signs that read, “save our democracy,” and held them towards people exiting the building once the speech had ended.

About 45 minutes after the speech, Biden left the National Constitution Center. Many people gathered to cheer for the President as his motorcade passed. Biden was seen waving to the crowd as they screamed and cheered.
