VIOLENT SUNDAY – Two teenagers killed in separate shootings, Queens man killed in drive-by

July 12 2021 New York, New York – three people shot dead, two teenagers and a 24-year-old adult.

Jaryan Elliot, 13 years-old, was shot and killed in front of an apartment building at 743 East 187th St. in Belmont at about 3:18 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

According to NYPD, gunman walked up to Elliot and opened fire, striking him in his chest and ankle, then fled in dark Honda.

Around 11:30pm, officers in the Bronx say they responded to a second fatal shooting involving another teenager.

16-year-old Ramon Gil-Medrano was found by officers after being shot multiple times at the corner of East 178th Street and Valentine Avenue in Mount Hope, says police.

According to cops, several men on scooters rode up and opened fire on the teen victim, seconds later fleeing.

EMS units rushed him to local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Around 8:15 in Queens, a drive-by shooter left a 24-year-old man dead, on Sunday evening.

Dejuan Brown, was shot multiple times to his body as he sat inside a Nissan Maxima at the corner of 200th Street and 111th Avenue in Queens.

Police say the shooter rode up to Brown’s car inside a black SUV and opened fire,then fled from the scene.

According to various sources and police statements, all three shooting may be gang related.
