The former governor, Eric Greitens, is hoping to succeed retiring GOP Sen. Roy Blunt.
Greitens resigned as governor in 2018 amid mounting scandals, like an allegation that he blackmailed a woman with whom he had an affair. Greitens has admitted to the affair, but has denied the blackmail allegations.
