FDNY Extinguishes Fire, Finds 71-year-old Stabbed to Death

On July 10, 2021 at approximately 4pm, FDNY say they responded to a call of a fire inside 1211 Manor Avenue, Apartment 2, in the Bronx.


Upon arrival, FDNY personnel extinguished the fire and located a 71 year-old male lying unconscious and unresponsive with three stab wounds to his neck, according to police.

EMS responded and transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
