On Friday Morning David Konsker was in his office when he hear a “boom!” A large crane had toppled over sending the truck it was attached to upwards and the boom smashing into the buildings below.
Firefighters evacuated Konsker and others in buildings nearby but fortunately there were no reports of injuries from the collapse.
The large truck could be seen elevated a few feet off the ground and inside of Konsker Electric Corp, damage and debris littered the office.
The crane truck was parked along 34th Avenue between 35th and 36th streets in Long Island City.
