June 24, 2021 Manhattan, New York – The 80 year old statue of Former United States President Theodore Roosevelt on a horse will be removed.
The approval to remove the statue was done by the New York City public Design commission, who voted unanimously to relocate the statue. This approval voted by the city after years of criticism that is symbolizes colonial subjugation and racial discrimination.
