June 23, 2021 Bronx, New York – at approximately 8:15pm, police responded to a call of an assault in the vicinity of 1581 Fulton Avenue, in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers said they observed a 31 year-old male lying unconscious and unresponsive with at least one gunshot wound to his body.
EMS responded and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to officials.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
