May 28, 2021 Manhattan, New York – at approximately 3am, police said they responded to a ShotSpotter activation at the corner of West 151 Street and Macombs Place, in Harlem.
Upon arrival, officers said they were informed that a 30-year-old male was removed from the vicinity of the location, via private means, and transported to Harlem Hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper right leg; the victim was subsequently pronounced deceased at the hospital.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
