Protests Across NYC for George Floyd

May 25 2021 – New York City, New York:
Multiple groups have gathered at different times across Manhattan and Brooklyn for George Floyd death anniversary.

A large group of protesters marched on the roadway on the Brooklyn-bound side of the Brooklyn Bridge chanting and holding signs for George Floyd on the 1 year anniversary of his death at the hands of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.

Another group gathered at Cadman Plaza Brooklyn, they later also blocked the Brooklyn Bridge.

Smaller group have gathered outside of 1 Police Plaza earlier in the day.

Traffic on Brooklyn Bridge as well as Manhattan Bridge was stopped as of 8pm on Tuesday May 25th.
