Curtis Sliwa does 24-hours Subway Challenge

May 18 2021 Manhattan, NEW YORK – Guardian Angels founder and GOP mayoral candidate, Curtis Sliwa, began his 24-hour subway ride today at 10:30 a.m. to bring attention to subway safety following multiple stabbing and splashing attacks within the transit system.

Approximately 6 hours later, at the very spot where he started, Union Square Station, the latest subway victim was slashed in the face.

Sliwa challenged Democratic mayoral hopefuls to join him, bringing hockey masks for them in case they fear being slashed,but they didn’t turn up.
