On Sunday, May 16, 2021, just after midnight, police say they responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 340 East 184 Street.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 34-year-old male was shot in his stomach during a dispute at that location, said police.
The male was transported by private means to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he died from his injuries. There are no arrests at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
